Create Memo page

 

Here you can create a memo which can be attached to such items as a project, quote or customer invoice. A memo typically contains past or additional information related to a current action.

 

Category

The classification of the CRM action.

This field cannot be modified.  

Date

The date of the memo. Here the date typically represents when the content of the memo occurred.

Manually enter the date  in the appropriate date format set in System Configuration or click Calendar and select from the calendar.

Topic

The subject of the memo.

Enter the text into the field.

Description

The content of the memo.

Enter your description into the text box.

Person Responsible

The person accountable for the memo. Depending on the company, the person responsible could be either the person who created the memo or the person accountable for the content in the memo.

To select, click the drop-down list and select the person responsible.

Type

The nature of the memo.

To select, click the drop-down list and select a type.

To create types, go to System > Configuration > System Values > CRM Types.

Priority

The urgency of the memo.

To select, click the drop-down list and select a priority.

Status

The current status of this memo.

To select, click the drop-down list and select a status.

This information is mandatory.  

Associations

The items which you have associated to this memo.

To delete an item, click delete icon.

Add Association for

To associate this memo to another item.

To do so, click the button of the item you want to associate this memo to. A new window with the Browse page appears. Select the item from the list. The item now appears in the Associations section.
