This article presents the features available in the Ultimate plan of XTRF Translation Management System. Please keep in mind that your access to the described options might be limited due to your license agreement. If you would like to change your plan of XTRF Translation Management System and gain access to the additional features, contact your XTRF Customer Success Manager.

Smart Connectors allow faster project creation for your clients. It is required to set up Smart Connector for each client separately. While adding a Smart Connector to the Home Portal, you need to provide at least three fields to be able to switch between tabs:
In the General Settings tab you can create and configure the Smart Connector for a given client. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Name field | Provide the name of the Smart Connector in this field. |

Active checkbox | If you currently do not want to use this Smart Connector, you do not need to remove it completely from the system. You can select this checkbox if you want to make the Smart Connector enabled in the Home Portal. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Client field | You need to specify for whom projects triggered by a given Smart Connector will be created. When you start typing the name of your client, the autocomplete function in XTRF Platform provides you suggestions from your client database. One Client, One Smart Connector It is required to configure separate Smart Connectors for each client.

Client Price Profile drop-down menu | The Client Price Profile entry is determined by the data from the Client's profile. In the client's price profile you can set up more than one price profile, therefore:
Contact Person in the Smart Connector The Smart Connector selects automatically the default Contact Person specified in the client's Price List. If there is no default Contact Person, the first Contact Person from the client's Price List is selected. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Files Aggregation drop-down menu | You can decide how the Smart Connector will handle files uploaded to the mapped folder. The Smart Connector can:

Scan for Input files section | You can select a folder on your local machine, an FTP or SFTP server or an e-mail address which the Smart Connector will scan for files. | File Directories Depending on how you want to process your files, you can set specific directories for them. You can set the directories in every section to be the same or completely different. For example, you can set up an FTP server for the source files and the folder for the processed files on your local machine, therefore the Project Manager can have a look at them before they are delivered to your client.
It takes 30 seconds for the Smart Connector to process uploaded files. This time is required to make sure that the files are fully uploaded. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
After Successfully Processing, Store Files in section | You can select a folder in which files that were already processed by the Smart Connector can be stored. |

In Case of Errors, Store the Files in section | If any error occurs while the Smart Connector attempts to create a project, the files that were a subject of that project can be stored in the specified folder. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Person Responsible radio buttons | Select the person that is responsible for this Smart Connector.

Last Activity Date section | The date of the Smart Connector's last activity. Last Activity Date Section The section is not available while adding a new Smart Connector. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Connector Definition section | You can configure the details of the Smart Connector. Select the Wizard radio button for basic configuration or Robot Code radio button for advanced configuration. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Save button | Click the button to save the settings. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Save and Exit button | Click the button to save the settings and return to the Smart Connectors list. The button is available only when you are editing an existing Smart Connector. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Cancel button | Click the button to discard all the changes and go back to the Smart Connectors list. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Exit button | Click the button to return to the Smart Connectors list. The button is available only when you are editing an existing Smart Connector. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Test button | The button appears when the Smart Connector is saved. You can click the button to test whether the Smart Connector can access the folder or e-mail address mapped in Input directory, and to make sure the settings for projects created by this Smart Connector are correct. Click this button to start the test. Test Smart Connector pop-up window appears. Please refer to the Smart Connectors - Technical Guide, section Testing Smart Connectors Configuration to learn more about testing Smart Connectors. The button is available only when you are editing an existing Smart Connector.
