Main Data Create Customer ContactThe  Main Data tab includes such information as the contact person's name, e-mail address and company position.
Customer

The customer the contact person is associated with.

Begin typing the name of the desired customer and then select the provider from the drop-down list.

This field is mandatory.  

Status

The current state of the contact person's provider.

  • When applied to a customer, a status can define his/her rights in the Partner Zone/Portal. Therefore, because a contact person always has the same status of his/her customer, the rights given to that customer in the Partner Zone/Portal will be same to the contact person.
  • To change the status of a contact person, modify the status of his/her customer on the Identification Data tab. The new status will automatically be applied to the customer's contact persons as well.


First Name

The contact person's forename.

Enter the text into the field.

This field is mandatory.

Last Name

The contact person's surname.

Enter the text into the field.

Initials

The initials of the contact person's name.

Enter the text into the field.

Gender

The gender of the contact person.

Click on the drop-down list and select an item.

Active

The current state of the contact person.

    • Select the tickbox if the contact person is valid and can be used. The contact person will be available for selection in drop-down lists.
    • Deselect the tickbox if the contact person is no longer valid and cannot be used. The contact person will appear in the Contact Persons table on the Contact Persons tab but will not be available for selection in drop-down lists.  
Position

The position of the contact person in the translation company.

Begin typing the name of the position and then select from the drop-down list. If you enter a position which currently does not exist in the system, the position will be automatically stored in Configuration after you create the contact person. The position will also be available for selection whenever you create a new partner.

To modify positions, go to  System  >  Configuration  System Values  >  Positions.

E-mail

The contact person's email address.

Enter the address into the field.

This field is mandatory.

Disallow CRM E-mails

The contact person's preference to receiving Customer Relationship Management (CRM) emails.

    • Select the tickbox if the contact person does not want to receive CRM emails. CRM emails will not be sent to the contact person.
    • Deselect the tickbox if the contact person wants to receive CRM emails. CRM emails will be sent to the contact person.
First Contact Date

The date which you and the contact person began correspondence.

Manually enter the date (yyyy-mm-dd) into the field or click Calendar Icon and select from the calendar.

Categories

A label used to organise contact persons. For example, you create categories which represent their respective customers' prince-sensitivity and importance.

Click the drop-down list and select a category. The selected category appears above the drop-down list.

Categories Item

    • To remove a selected category, click Delete Icon.
    • To add all the available categories, click Add all. Now all categories are assigned to the contact person.
    • To remove all the selected categories, click Remove all. Now no category is assigned to the contact person.

 

To create categories, go to System  >  Configuration  > System Values  >  Partner Categories .

Contact Languages

The languages in which the contact person can communicate.

Click on the drop-down list and select a language. The selected language appears above the drop-down list:

    • To remove a selected language from the contact person, click Delete Icon.
    • To add all the available languages, click Add all. Now all languages are selected for the contact person.
    • To remove all the selected languages, click Remove all. Now no language is selected for the contact person.

You can configure the languages. Go to  System  >  Configuration  > System Values  >  Languages .

Mother Tongues

The native language of the contact person. 

Click on the drop-down list and select a language. The selected language appears above the drop-down list:

 To enter a language into the system, go to  System  >  Configuration  > System Values  >  Languages .

EditClick to modify the tab.
SaveClick to apply any modifications.
CancelClick to terminate the modification process.
