The Main Data tab contains the essential details of the job, including the job's name, unique ID number, assigned vendor and contact person of the vendor.
ID Number

The identification data number assigned to this job.

The ID number is generated after the job is created. You cannot manually enter a number in this field.

Create Using

Use the radio button to decide if the new job should be included into the task's workflow or the job should be created outside of the task's workflow. This selection will influence the next field.

You can select:

  • Workflow Job  - If you select this the next field will be Workflow Job.
  • Non-Workflow Job - If you select this option the next field will be Job Type.
Workflow Job

Is available if you have selected Worflow Job above.

A specific job in the workflow, the new job will be.

Click on the drop-down list and select one of the workflow jobs included in the workflow. The new job's type will be the same as the selected workflow job.

  • You cannot manually add another job to a workflow while creating a job here.
  • This field is mandatory.
Job Type

Is available if you have selected Non-worflow Job above.

The specific classification of a job which most suitably characterizes the job.

Click on the drop-down list and select a type.

  • To create a job type, go to Configuration > System Values > Job Types.
  • This field is mandatory.
Job Status

The current state of the job.

This field cannot be modified here. As such, when you create an job, its status is always .

Document Status

The state of the payable document.

This field cannot be modified here. As such, when you create a job, its status is always Not Sent.

Language Combination

The language combination for which the task is to be performed.

This field cannot be modified.  

Vendor

The vendor assigned to perform this job.

    • To select a vendor, begin typing a name into the field and then select the desired vendor from the list of suggested vendors. 
    • To search for a vendor, click  . When you click on this button, a window with the Vendor Browse appears.
    • To assign the job to the vendor account linked to the currently logged-in user, click .

      To link a vendor account to a user, go to Configuration > User Management > Users. After locating the desired user, select the In-house Job tab.

    • To remove the vendor from the job, click  .
Price Profile

The vendor's price profile which contains the vendor's specific rates for certain language combinations and job types.

Click on the drop-down list and select the desired price profile.

Contact Person

The individual to whom the job's notifications and related files will be sent.

    • Click on the drop-down list and select a contact person.
    • To create a new contact person, click  When you click on this button, a new window appears. For a description of the tabs in the window, click here: Contacts Management - Vendor .
Start Date and Time

The date when the job should begin.

Manually enter the date in the appropriate date format set in System Configuration or click Calendar and select from the calendar.

This field is mandatory.

Deadline

The date when the job should be completed.

Manually enter the date in the appropriate date format set in System Configuration or click Calendar and select from the calendar.

Click to create the job.
Click to terminate the job creation.
Click to return to the task for which this job was to be created.
