Main Data Task The Main Data tab contains the essential details of the task, including the task's name, unique ID number, customer and contact person.
 

 If you have made any modifications in this tab or the other tabs, be sure to click Save before leaving the page. If not, the modifications will be lost.

ID Number

The identification data number assigned to this task.

This field cannot be modified.  

Name

The unique name of the task.

Enter the text into the field.

By default, the name of the task is the same as the quote's name.  

Language Combination

The language combination for which the task is to be performed.

This field cannot be modified.

Specialisation

A qualification such as knowledge of medicine or law terms required for an activity in the task to be performed.

To select a new specialisation, click Change. A new window with appears. Select the specialisation from the drop-down list.

By default, the specialisation is the same as the one selected for the quote.  

To create a specialisation, go to System > Configuration > System Values > Specialisations .

Workflow

The specific workflow to be used in the task.

To select a new workflow, click Change. A new window appears. Select the workflow from the drop-down list.

By default, the workflow is the same as the one selected for the quote.

To create a workflow, go to System > Configuration > Workflows > Workflow Definitions.  

Estimated Delivery Date

The supposed delivery date of the task files to the customer.

Manually enter the date in the appropriate date format set in System Configuration or click Calendar and select from the calendar.

Working Days

The estimated number of days needed to complete the task.

Enter a value into the field.

Additional Fields

Supplementary information necessary for this task, for example, the date and location of a spoken translation.

To have the additional fields be visible, select the tickbox.

Additional FieldsHere you can enter extra information, such as when the task should be started and completed.
Start Date

The date when the task should begin.

Manually enter the date in the appropriate date format set in System Configuration or click Calendar and select from the calendar.

Deadline

The date when the task should be completed.

Manually enter the date in the appropriate date format set in System Configuration or click Calendar and select from the calendar.

Place of Event

The location of the event related to the task.

Enter the text into the field.

Date of Event

The date of the event related to the task.

Manually enter the date in the appropriate date format set in System Configuration or click Calendar and select from the calendar.

Purpose of Translation

The reason behind the task.

Enter the text into the field.

Target Audience

The audience for whom the result of task was intended.

Enter the text into the field.

Style

A distinctive characteristic made in the result the task, such as a formal register.

Enter the text into the field.

 

 

Customer

The customer for whom the task will be performed.

This field cannot be modified. To change the customer, go to Main Data - Quote and select a new customer. The new customer will automatically be entered for all the other language combinations and tasks.

Customer Task Number

The customer's own task number to be appended to the task.

Enter the information into the field.

Contact Person

The individual to whom the task's notifications and ready files are to be sent.

To include more contact persons, click More. Additional fields appear.

Additional Contacts

Additional recipients of the task's notifications and ready files.

You can further specify which receivables will be sent to each contact person. To do so, go to the Documents - Quote tab and click Edit and Send icon of the desired receivable. Include the desired recipients for the receivables to be sent.

Send Back to

The individual to whom the project's ready files will be sent.

Click the drop-down list and select a contact person.

This field is mandatory.


Additional Contacts

Any other individuals to whom the emails related to the project will be sent.

Click the drop-down list and select a contact person. When selected, the contact person appears above the drop-down list:

Additional Contacts Item

    • To remove a selected contact, click Delete Icon.
    • To add all of the customer's available contact persons, click Add all.
    • To remove all of the selected contacts, click Remove all.

This field is mandatory.

Categories

A classification to be applied to the task which can help a user when locating a task or creating a business report.

Click on the drop-down list and select an item. The category appears above the drop-down list:

    • To remove a selected item, click Delete Icon.
    • To add all categories, select Add all.
    • To remove all selected categories, select Remove all.

To create a category, go to System > Configuration > System Values > Project / Quote / Task Categories.

EditClick to modify.
SaveClick to apply the modifications.
CancelClick to terminate the modification process.
