The first step in creating a project from a template is deciding what task and receivable information you want reproduced in the new project. On this page you can choose which tasks you want included in the new project as well as enter the quantity of calculation units for a given receivable.

Which tables appear on this page is dependent on the information selected on the Create Project Template page. For example, if you deselect the Receivables tickbox, the Receivables table will not appear on this page.

Tasks

In the Tasks table you can review the tasks included in the original project which serves as the basis for the template. You decide which tasks you want to include in the new project. If you do not remove a task from the table, the system will create a task with the same information in the new project.

Here you can also modify the start dates and deadlines for the new tasks.

In this table you can only delete a task or modify its start date and/or deadline. You cannot modify any other information. If you want to modify a given task:

  1. Go to Project > Browse Tasks.
  2. Locate the desired task and click click .
Delete

Click  to remove a task from the new project.

From Task

The task from which the new task will be duplicated.

Language CombinationThe language combination for which the task is to be performed.
SpecialistionA qualification such as knowledge of medicine or law terms required for an job in the task to be performed.
Start Date

The date when the task should begin.

Manually enter the date in the appropriate date format set in System Configuration or click  calendar  and select from the calendar.

Deadline

The date when the task should be completed.

Manually enter the date in the appropriate date format set in System   Configuration or click  calendar  and select from the calendar.

Receivables

In the Receivables table you can review the receivables included in the original project which serves as the basis for the template. The receivables in the table will be created in the new project.

You can also modify a receivable's quantity of calculation units.

In this table you can only modify a receivable's quantity of calculation units. You cannot remove an individual receivable or modify any other information here.

  • If you want to remove all receivables from the template:
    • Go to   Project > Templates.
    • Locate the desired template and click .
    • Deselect the Receivables tickbox in the table. The Rates tickbox is automatically deselected and locked as well.
    • Click .

      To have the system propagate the receivables but not their basic rates and quantities of calculation units, select the Receivables tickbox and deselect the Rates tickbox.

From Task

The source task for which this receivable is intended.

Lang. CombinationThe language combination in which this receivable is included.
Job TypeThe job type defined in a given receivable.
Calculation UnitThe unit used in determining how the charge of a specific job will be calculated.
Quantity

The exact amount of calculation units included in this job's source object.

Enter a value into a field.

Click to return to the Project Create.
Click to advance to Step 2: Set Values for Jobs and Payables.
Click to terminate the project creation.
