Access Rights

A provider cannot be assigned to both a status and a group. If you deselect the Assign to Status tickbox, the provider will be assigned the rights of the group selected in the Assign to Group field.

Assign to Status

The provider's current assignment to the status selected for him/her on the Identification Data tab. Each status can have unique rights in XTRF, such as access to certain areas in the Partner Zone.

    • To assign the provider to the selected status, select the tickbox. The Assign to Group field is locked.
    • To remove the provider's assignment to the selected status, deselect the tickbox. The Assign to Group field is unlocked.
    • To change the status of the provider, go to the Identification Data tab.

To modify a status, go to System > Configuration > Partner Management > Partner Groups - Rights.

If you decide to assign a provider to a group and not to his/her selected status, you can use the status as a filter property whenever searching for providers in a Browse table. For example, a provider has the Incomplete Data status, but you deselected the Assign to Status tickbox and assigned this provider to a group because this group's rights are more appropriate for the provider's work. However, when you want to finish entering all of the provider's information, you can select the Incomplete Data status in the search filter to limit the number of entries in the Browse table.

Assign to Group

The provider's appointed group. Each group can have unique rights in XTRF, such as access to certain areas in the Partner Zone.

To assign your provider to a group, deselect the Assign to Status tickbox, click on the drop-down list and select an item.

To create a group, go to System > Configuration > Partner Management > Partner Groups - Rights.
