Configuration: System Values: Advanced






In the configuration of the System Values: Advanced section you can find the following entities:

  • Calculation Units

Calculation units are used for estimating the volume of work. The calculation units allow for calculating how much the vendor should be paid for their work. You can configure what are the available calculation units in the Calculation Units section.


  • Categories

Categories are a great way to organize your work. Categories can be applied to various entities in XTRF Platform to help you run your operations smoothly and you can configure each individual category in the Categories section.


  • Currencies

In the Currencies section you can manage currencies, that are used in operations of your company. You can also keep track of the current exchange rates in relation to the default system currency.


  • Job Types

In the Home Portal, the services offered by your company are called job types. In Job Types section you can browse and edit language services provided by your company.


  • Languages

Language is the most principal value in the translation business. In the Languages section, you can browse and edit languages that are used to define source or target languages in quotes or projects.

  • Lead/Recruitment Sources

Lead and Recruitment sources are possible places where you can find new clients and vendors. You can edit and expand your database of lead and recruitment sources in the Lead/Recruitment Sources section.


  • Opportunity Statuses

 The opportunity status reflects the stage of the sales process. You can set up every opportunity status and add new ones in the Opportunity Statuses section.

  • Payment Types

Bank accounts, credit cards and any other payment services are included in payments types. The payments types are useful when you are preparing an invoice for your client or vendor. You can edit the properties of existing payment types and add more in the Payment Types section.


  • Ratings

The vendors can be evaluated in order to select the best fitting people for the future projects. You can configure the rating system in the Ratings section.


  • Social Media

Nowadays, people can be reached by many different means of communication and not only by phone or e-mail address. You can maintain contact with the people you work with trough various social media, such as Facebook or LinkedIn. You can configure social media that can be used to complete your colleagues' vendors' and clients' profiles in the Social Media section.


  • Specializations

As your client orders a project, it can be specified what is the specialization of the files that need translation. Therefore, the vendors will know what is the area of expertise of a given project and what vocabulary can be expected in it, for example medical or technical terms. In the Specializations section you can configure what specializations are available within your company's offer.


  • Tax Offices

The information about a vendor's tax office might sometimes be useful when preparing various types of documents. You can add tax offices in the Tax Offices section.


  • Work Log Activities

While working in the Home Portal the employees at your company may perform various activities. The Work Log functionality allows for logging time spent on those activities in the system. In the Work Log Activities section you can define what activities are available in the Home Portal's Work Log functionality.
