Configuration accordion menu

 

In the Configuration accordion menu you can find Custom Fields section in which you can view and edit custom fields currently available in the Home Portal as well as add new custom fields.

 



Search fieldAs soon as you start typing a search query, XTRF Platform returns the list of search results. It is an easy and convenient way of finding the required section in the Configuration accordion menu.
Custom Fields sectionIn the  Configuration  accordion menu go to the Customization  section, Custom Fields subsection to get displayed the list of all custom fields currently available in the Home Portal of XTRF Platform.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

View drop-down menu

You can manage how and what information is displayed in the Custom Fields list.    Use the  View drop-down menu to select and manage view . With this menu you can select the view you want to work with and also create new custom views.

Search Filter panel

You can narrow down your search results for a desired entity with the search filter.

The Search Filter panel contains individual fields. The search results are updated in real-time when you perform an operation on one of the fields.

You can configure the Search Filter fields for a given object. 

Smart Views are fully customizable, therefore the example view provided may be different than what you can see on your screen.

 Use the buttons displayed to perform actions on the selected entities.

Note

Action panel is an interactive field; it displays only buttons for actions which can be selected by a given user.

Add Custom Field buttonYou can click this button to add a new custom field to your database. This button takes you to the custom field creation page.
Export button

Click to format the data from the entity table.  You can export the data to the file, therefore you can use it in another application. When you click the button, the Export Data pop-up window appears.

Custom Fields list

You can view and manage Custom Fields stored in the database. Click the name of the Custom Field or anywhere in the appropriate row in order to see the details of the Custom Field.

The example provided concerns the default view. Smart Views are very customizable, therefore the example might be slightly different than what you can see on your screen.

 

The default view columns provide the following information:

  • Name: The name of the custom field;
  • Type: Type of the custom field. The available types are as follows:
    • Checkbox: Allows for choice between two mutually exclusive options. For example Active or Inactive.
    • Date: Allows for providing a date manually or selecting it from the calendar menu.
    • Date and Time: Allows for providing a date and time. The date and time can be provided manually or you can select it from the calendar menu.
    • Multiple Selection: Allows for creating multiple selectable options. All of those options can be selected at the same time.
    • Number: Allows for creating a field for providing numbers.
    • Selection: Allows for creating a drop-down menu.
    • Text: Allows for creating a field in which any kind of information can be manually provided.
  • Scope : An entity for which the custom field is relevant.
  • Default Value : The value or option which is set as a default for the particular custom field.
