This article contains information about other software and web services that XTRF can integrate with.

Apart from the software presented in the subsections of the Integration with Other Systems article, XTRF has also means of integration with the following applications and services:

  • SMS (text message) gateways (brokers) integration allow for sending text messages directly from XTRF, either automatically, e.g. as part of a workflow, or manually by users. The SMS broker currently supported is Cardboardfish.
  • For the purposes of updating currency exchanges rates, XTRF can connect to the databases of the European Central Bank and the Polish National Bank.
  • XTRF Web Service API allows third-party software to connect to XTRF in order to modify data.
  • XTRF Link allows for direct connection between two XTRF systems for the purposes of exchanging information.
  • XTRF Macros allow to prepare and export data to any kind of text files (including CSV and XML formats) in order to later import them to another software.

With help of the Integration with CAT Tools, XTRF allows also for machine translation of files. Depending on the CAT tool used, supported MT engines include Asia Online, Bing, Google Translate, SDL Automated Translation, SDL BeGlobal Community, SmartMATE, Tauyou and others. In XTRF version 2014 Winter 3.1 it will also be possible to use Apertium, KantanMT, Let'sMT, Microsoft Translator, Microsoft Translator Hub, Microsoft with Feedback, NICT, PangeaMT and Systran.
